The Omni Hotel, San Francisco 2002

Located in the heart of San Francisco, this award-winning project transformed the historic Financial Center Building into a 362-room luxury hotel.

To retain the 1920's atmosphere and its original Florentine Renaissance look, the hotel features extensive use of architectural millwork in the high ceilings with crown molding in Mahogany and American Cherry in the reception rooms. Patri Merker Architects won the 2002/3 Woodwork Institute of California's Bernard B. Barber Award for Excellence honoring projects with architectural woodwork as a predominant feature.
