This modern residence, a 'ground-up' remodel, is the home of two architects.

Chosen for its earth–friendliness, the deck is made from Ipe, a farmed product from Brazil. All the squares are removable, creating a versatile "temporary" deck.

The floor - square edged FAS Walnut with a high gloss - was finished and installed by Elite Flooring and Moulding, El Segundo, CA. The treads on the staircase are 2 1/2" thick X 12" wide premium Walnut.

The rough-sawn tongue and groove Cedar adds an organic aspect to the curved ceiling, balancing the contemporary theme of the home.
